Frost & Sullivan Credits Lumeta and McAfee Integration with Eliminating Blind Spots in Network and Endpoint Infrastructure

Today’s dynamic infrastructures create new challenges for Network and Security teams responsible for securing enterprise networks an increasingly interconnected world. IT, operations and cybersecurity professionals must identify and secure unknown, rogue and shadow networks and endpoints in real-time, while also keeping track of constant changes based on enterprise mobility, virtualization, cloud-based infrastructure and policy-based network segmentation.

With these challenges in mind, we’ve worked with our partner McAfee to build an integration between Lumeta Spectre and McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) to help alleviate the burden on enterprise security professionals. Frost & Sullivan recently released an in-depth analysis of this integration in a white paper highlighting its ability to provide customers with real-time visibility to proactively identify, manage and respond to endpoint security issues and threats across dynamic cloud, virtual, mobile and physical networks.

According to Frost & Sullivan, “The strength of Lumeta Spectre is the combination of visibility, historical context, and analytics used to detect anomalous behavior and threat detection.” The report praises the Lumeta and McAfee integration with improving visibility, enhancing threat detection and strengthening the overall security posture of a network through each of the four phases of the Incident Detection and Response (IDR) lifecycle: preparation; detection and analysis; containment, eradication and recovery; and post-incident recovery.
